Estes Institute of Cosmetology was founded by Don and Lydia Estes in 1988. This institution was born from their passion and love of the cosmetology industry. Their desire is to inspire the next generation of creative and talented hairstylists. The Estes’ have been trained internationally in noteworthy academies such as Comar Duran - Hollywood, Ca, Sections D’Art – Paris, France and Vidal Sassoon – London, England.

Pivot Point is a scientific approach to the study of Cosmetology. Designers from around the world contribute to the development of Pivot Point education. The Pivot Point educational systems teach the stylist why, as well has how something works. Knowing how will result in technical skills, but also knowing why enables the stylist to create.
